SYNTHWAVE REEL

Synthwave is an electronic music genre that is mainly based on the 1980s music associated.

This genre is influenced by action, science-fiction, and horror film soundtracks, combined with the aesthetic of popular music of the 1980s. Synthwave musicians often espouse nostalgia for 1980s culture and attempt to capture the era’s atmosphere. It isn’t only a music genre, it really is a mood. That’s why synthwave images and art is so special. I am passionated about it, and I wanted to create a short reel with some works that refer to it.

 

 

 

 

I used Cinema 4D, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator to create this works.

First loop – Creating and cloning the landscape.

Both of this loop animations have been made thanks to Visualdon, following his C4D and After Effects lessons. A great help to understand better how both of this softwares work and how unlimited are the possibilities using them.
